What is monoblock air conditioning?

A monoblock system houses the air conditioning components together in one indoor unit. KOOLIO’s wall-mounted design provides cooling without a separate outdoor condenser, creating a neat finish inside and outside your property.

Does KOOLIO need an outdoor unit?

No. KOOLIO connects to the outside through two ventilation openings in an external wall, finished with discreet circular grilles. There is no bulky outdoor unit to mount on your wall or position in your garden.

Where can KOOLIO be installed?

KOOLIO can be considered for spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, offices, garden rooms along with many other areas. Suitability depends on the room’s cooling requirements, the available external wall, ventilation clearances and installation requirements.

Does it need to be fitted beneath a window?

No! The images show one possible position. The final location will depend on the room layout and the model’s installation requirements, including access to an external wall and sufficient clearance around the unit. Koolio can be wall mounted or stand alone against a wall.

What does installation involve?

Installation includes preparing the wall openings, fitting the ventilation ducts and exterior grilles, securely mounting the indoor unit, and arranging the required power supply and any drainage.

The exact work depends on your property. These details should be assessed before installation.

Can I install KOOLIO myself?

Yes, however we recommend professional installation so the unit is correctly positioned, securely fitted and installed in line with the manufacturer’s requirements. A template is provided to make the wall openings and installation is easy. You do not require a F gas registered installer and this can be completed by any builder. How do I control the temperature?

KOOLIO offers three convenient control options:

Touch control: Adjust settings directly on the unit.
Remote control: Change settings from the comfort of your seat.

Can I set a timer?

Yes. The 24-hour timer allows you to set operating times to suit your routine. Your model’s operating instructions explain the available timer settings and how to use them.

What size room can KOOLIO cool?

The suitable room size depends on factors such as ceiling height, insulation, windows, sunlight and heat-producing equipment.

How noisy is it?

Sound levels depend on the model, operating mode and fan speed. If you’re considering KOOLIO for a bedroom, treatment room or another sound-sensitive space, ask us for the model’s published sound specifications before choosing. In night mode, the noise generated is less than a fan.

Running costs depend on the unit’s electricity consumption, your energy tariff, the temperature setting, the weather and how long it operates. Room insulation and heat from windows or equipment also affect cooling demand.

What maintenance does KOOLIO need?

The air filter needs regular attention in line with the manufacturer’s instructions, and airflow openings should be kept clear. Follow the care guidance supplied with your unit for cleaning and servicing.
